NEW OPPORTUNITIES… So ticket offices are dead! But killing the ticket office closes off a valuable brand and sales connection point. It’s true online and automation are taking over, but we were responsible for the first open style ticket office desk for Virgin Trains back in 2000 and most of their evolution since, it makes sense that some close but there are new opportunities and we know what the next evolution should be. Making ticket offices into lettable spaces makes no sense if you don’t get to keep the revenue, but travel and brand promotion and customer service/education/information points at larger locations do make sense.
